Word for Today: I Am Confident About Tomorrow

Opening Scripture: Matthew 6: 34
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: For the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”.

Glory be to God!
As a believer, you must come to a point where nothing moves you.
We must always cast our cares concerning the tomorrow of our lives upon the Lord.

Remember He cares for us and our plans and goals are achievable effectively with Him for He knows tomorrow. Hallelujah! I do not forbid preparing for tomorrow but rather presuming upon tomorrow.

As a believer, we must speak of tomorrow with submission to the will of God, not our will.
Do not boast about tomorrow, for God hates a boastful person.

Learn to speak about your future not on your own accord but on God’s. Let it be only on Him.
Remember when you plan with the Lord, you can never go wrong.
He is a perfect God, he makes no mistakes.
He will lead you right.
Learn to trust Him for each day and surely you will be glad.
Your future is in His hands, be assured He will take care of you with each passing day.

James 4:13-15 says” Go to now, ye that say, today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow: For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
For that ye ought to say, if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that”.

Talk about tomorrow in humility unto the Lord.
God lifts the humble in due season. (Study 1 Peter 5: 6)  Praise the Lord!
Proverbs 27:1 boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble! Your character should be worthy of emulation. We are Christ’s representatives on earth.

I admonish you to be a person who boasts in the Lord and not in yourself. Remember it’s our season of testimonies, let it play out in your life through obedience to God’s Word. Hallelujah!

I pray for you today that all you do will bring glory in the name of the Lord in Jesus’ name Amen.
