Opening Scripture:
Psalm 119: 11
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Hallelujah!
Beloved God’s word the truth shall set you free.
Amen! You need to store it up in your Heart.
Enough of God’s word in you will keep you away from sin and also will encourage you in trying times.
Beloved it’s God’s word in your heart? It is profitable to grow and maintain a balance Christian life to avoid being deceived by false men who claim they are sent by God.
When you know God’s word, you can easily double-check the words they preach versus God’s Word you studied.
Paul had an encounter with such believers who knew and stored up God’s word in their hearts and that made them search the scriptures always
Acts 17:11 KJV says
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
It’s only believers who know
God’s word and it stored in their hearts have the desire to cross-examine whatever a preacher teaches.
Can this be said about you?
It is important to study God’s Word. I ask are you a hook line and sinker believer? Beloved do you welcome God’s word with the indignation of mind and eagerness to hear it? I ask, how eager are you to hear God’s Word and obey?
Paul said in
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The personal revelation of God’s Word serves as a confirmation of what you heard someone preach or teach. It gives you a double assurance of what God can do and you only get such revelation through studying, comparing scripture with scripture, and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you God’s Word (Truth). Store up God’s word in your heart!
The challenge we are having in the body of Christ today is that
many believers lack proper knowledge of God’s word and neglect personal study. This is why they are deceived by any kind of doctrine and blame God.
Quit the blame games, God’s word is available to build you up, in it, you will find hidden secrets which will enable you to fulfill your destiny and live a godly life. Hallelujah!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Who is the man of God? We are! Be a believer who walks in righteousness and holiness and your life will never remain the same. Give time to studying God’s word you shall surely be elevated.
I pray for you to desire God’s Word like never before as your Christian life grows in Jesus’ name Amen.
In The Spirit Of Love:
Remain Ever Lifted.
